Hansi Flick informs Barcelona of his final decision on selling Marc Casadó’s to Atlético Madrid

Hansi Flick has made a final decision regarding the sale of Marc Casado, who has been placed on the unwanted player list and is free to leave if a suitable offer is received.
Because the need to generate sufficient income to secure new signings has prompted Joan Laporta and Deco to consider selling some stars who initially fit the bill, but who are also not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
Barcelona’s board is seeking to generate income from the departure of players such as Pablo Torre, Héctor Fort, Iñaki Peña, and Pau Victor, but things have become more complicated than expected. Ronald Araujo remains on the books, having been put up for sale this summer without receiving any official offers.
Moreover, all this prompted them to consider saying goodbye to a close friend of Pedri’s, Pau Coparsi, Xavi, and Lamine Yamal. Marc Casado’s name was being strongly mentioned, and he began to hint at his desire to leave permanently, having already received several offers from major clubs.
Among them, Atletico Madrid was the last to contact him, and they did not hesitate to contact his agent, trying to repeat the process that succeeded with Luis Suarez, Antoine Griezmann, and David Villa.
The Spain international has always stated his desire to succeed at Barcelona, but if he is forced to leave, or is not guaranteed a significant role, he will not hesitate to try his luck elsewhere.
The possibility of joining Atletico Madrid seemed very convincing to him, despite his name also being linked to clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
He rejected all offers up to €17, although there was already speculation of a first offer of around €40 million.
Fortunately for Casado and all the friends he has in the Barcelona squad, Hansi Flick does not want to lose a player who was indispensable to his squad during the first part of the season.
Even a potential renewal for Frenkie de Jong and the recovery of Marc Bernal do not make Felli want to get rid of the jewel of La Masia, and he has already informed Barcelona that he will not sell him to Atletico Madrid.
