Marcus Rashford sets one condition for joining Barça

Marcus Rashford continues to be in the spotlight, and has gained momentum to land at Barça after Nico Williams’ lifelong renewal with Athletic Club Bilbao was announced.
As things stand, he and Luís Díaz have remained the big favourites to strengthen the attack, and Joan Laporta and Deco continue to view his possible landing very positively, which would be in really favorable conditions.
Unlike the Liverpool star , he would have a very desirable cost, which in no case would exceed 50 million euros.
A priori, the intention at Camp Nou was to be able to reach an agreement for the transfer of the English star, with a non-mandatory purchase option, but Manchester United has already made it clear that a new loan is not being considered, and that they are looking for a definitive sale, since it is not part of the plans.
Since the arrival of Rubén Amorim he was relegated to ostracism , and was forced to pack his bags, a situation identical to the one he finds himself in now.
In fact, the number ’10’ that was his property has been taken away from him, and is now in the hands of Matheus Cunha, recently signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers. His future will be far from Old Trafford, and he has already expressed his intention to try his luck away from the Premier League.
And Barça is the option that most seduces and convinces him by far, so he has shown himself willing to make a significant financial effort, accepting a considerable reduction in the high salary he receives.
But Rashford sets an indispensable condition to end up under Hans-Dieter Flick, and that is that he wants to be guaranteed an important role, and that he will have many minutes and continuity, to try to recover his best version.
He will not be content with being a regular substitute or a simple substitute , and wants to have a leading role, as he has had in the ranks of Aston Villa over the last six months.
Rashford’s goal is obviously to be able to go to the 2026 World Cup, and return to the England squad. Now that Gareth Southgate is no longer there, he hopes to convince Thomas Tuchel, the new coach, but to do that, he needs to play regularly.
If Barça doesn’t promise him that this will happen, he will have no problem saying goodbye.
